John, thank you for such a clear, clean, beautifully expressed, description of this most amazing activity that, thanks to you, has become an integral part of my life. At this point I would describe the conscious awareness of the feeling of myself, as a shadow; it is always here and I can kind of see it out of the corner of my eye as my daily life unfolds. When looked at directly, I experience it as solid as a rock, dependable, unshakeable. Looking directly at this has (just recently) turned into a most delicious activity...soothing, refreshing, relaxing, and joyous, like submerging into a cool pond on hot day. Thank you for taking my hand and pointing the way...
