The meditation that I speak of is the very simple meditation practice that I received from the Buddhists that is called Shamata meditation. It is just a matter of watching your breath. The purpose of this meditation is to prepare yourself. You get good at moving your attention, keeping your attention focused one-pointedly on an object that has no meaning. But then, when you really feel like you are doing it, look at yourself.
